January 8, 2018

Teachers, care givers, police and fire personnel, emergency service providers, medical specialists, shop clerks cannot find affordable housing near where they work requiring arduous commutes.  I have spent 50 years as a planning consultant specializing in the defining the right land use solutions in the right place. HCAG provides an opportunity for me to use my experience and professional skills to give back to the community.

Larry Kennings is an environmental planning consultant with 52 years of experience, 45 of which have been in Marin County. He received a Master’s Degree in City Planning from Harvard University’s Graduate School of design. He is currently serving Marin County as a sworn member of the Parks and Open Space Commission. He was a Founding Director of the International Association of Public Participation. Larry also was a Founding Director and President of the Alumni Association for the University of California’s College of Environmental Design. He served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Richmond Art Center. He also was the co-founder of the Environmental Group Hawaii.
